There was a fair bit of wind this morning, but I decided to go to wrok and wait for it to fill in in the afternoon... I thought I'd made a mistake as it dropped off and it looked as though I was going to have to go kite-surfing in order to get out on the water, but around 3pm the wind started to fill in and Impi was up and planing with his 8.5m and big board. Daz and Stevebus also gave it a go with big kit but seemed to be struggling, but I thought I'd join them anyway rather than getting the kite out. Once on the water I was nicely powered up with my 6.7m and Sputnik, a little underpowered at times, but the wind started to fill in and I was soon maxed out. After a few mad flat out runs I decided it was time to come in and change down.

Back out on the 5.7m and once again perfectly powered. the swell had picked up a little now so flat out blasting with the odd jump was the order of the day. It was ood to be out with the others and see everyone having such a good session. The wind continued to fill in and I was soon maxed out with my 5.7 and could see the others struggling at times as well... I didn't have the energy to change down to the 5m although I probably should have really. In the end I just held on until I could hang on no more.

What a session, and I'm glad I didn't get the kite out!
